Gilmer National Bank opened for business in 1901 as Farmers and Merchants National Bank. In 1979, the name was changed to more accurately reflect our role as a full service bank. Over the last 100 years, we have grown from a one-room bank in the corner of the courthouse, to the modern facility we have today. We also have a branch in Longview at 5848 Judson Rd.
